Kathryn grew up in Tsawwasssen, a small suburb of Vancouver, where she was raised in a Baptist upbringing and church life. She accepted the Lord into her heart at 7 years old but fell away from the church as a teen. She spent most of her youth seeking a life apart from God and the church she knew until God called her to him again in her late 20s.

Her younger adult life was spent working as a soft tissue therapist and health sciences business consultant, developing a not-for-profit and studying health sciences. It wasn’t until she decided to take her studies further that God called her to take a leap of Faith and do something unexpected. She enrolled at Trinity Western University to further her spiritual understanding and benefit from education. She says, “Looking back through my walk with Christ, I have failed numerously, but God never failed on any of his promises to me. He changed my life plan completely, but more importantly, he changed me.” The passage from Romans 8:38-39 brings comfort and joy to her spiritual walk.

Kathryn manages the church’s support systems, including partnerships, rentals, building needs, technology and electronic equipment, events, and administrative communications. She works with the financial team to prepare the budget and oversee the accounts and works closely with the Lead Pastor. In addition, she is the chair of the consortium meetings and leads the digital media team. She is currently a student at Northwest Seminary & College in pursuit of her master’s under Fellowship Pacific & Faith Church.

Kathryn resides in Vancouver with her husband Peter, where they await the birth of their daughter in the Spring. You can find them enjoying the sun (and rain), ocean, and mountains when they aren’t serving. She is a group leader for Bible Study Fellowship (BSF), a ministry she has been part of for 10 years and actively serves through her not-for-profit.
