Gayle is my heart and helper. My kids are grown with families of their own. 10 grand kids help me connect with all generations.

BA; MA; MTh; MCL; PhD – 18 years as a missionary in Kenya and 22 years in pastoral ministry help frame my spiritual formation. Starting ministries to refugees,international students, and newcomers to Canada keep me humbled and aware that God is building a family from every tribe, tongue and nation. We are here, getting a taste of heaven now, together.We are 50 nations forming one family in response to the love Jesus showed us.

I read widely but continue to listen closely to John Piper, Tim Keller, Andy Stanley and Chuck Swindoll.

I Timothy 4:12 “Don’t let anyone look down on you because you are young but set an example for the believers in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith and in purity.

Also I Peter 3:15-16 “But in your hearts revere Christ as Lord. Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. But do this with gentleness and respect, keeping a clear conscience, so that those who speak maliciously against your good behavior in Christ may be ashamed of their slander.” Also Revelation 7:9 “After this I looked, and there before me was a great multitude that no one could count, from every nation, tribe, people and
language, standing before the throne and before the Lamb.”

Books – I read them and I write them (6 so far).

Fish – I raise tropical fish.

Gospel: The life, death, burial and resurrection of Jesus links us together through the Word of God taught, shared, lived out and accepted.
Community: The love of Christ lived out in community shows itself through welcoming,nurturing, supporting, encouraging, forgiving, serving and praying for one another.
Mission: Our mission is to make disciples of Christ from all nations who make disciples of Christ from all nations. We are authentic authorized apprenticing ambassadors released into a world needing to know the truth, grace and love of Jesus.
Prayer: Nothing lasting happens without the foundation and commitment of prayer. We are committed to prayer with each other, for each other and for God’s work in our world.
