OUR CHURCH TEAM

I was born and raised in South Korea where I was married before moving to Vancouver
 in 2005. God has been using me since 2002 in pastoral ministry; the first 3 years in Korea and the last 18 years in Canada. Serving God of the Bible and people from all 
nations in Vancouver and the First Nations community in Lytton, BC, is the
greatest joy in my life. I celebrate the opportunities revealed to me to meet people from 
all nations living in South Vancouver. I believe Jesus is the only way, the truth,
 and the life of God the Father. I love seeing God’s ongoing soul-saving 
ministry through my church (FFBC) and my ministry team (LFNM
https://www.lfnm.ca/); inclusive of our differing cultural backgrounds.

Currently, I live in Burnaby where I recruit and equip leaders to reach out to thousands of people living in the First Nations communities of
Lytton and First Nations communities of South Vancouver.

The last 11 years has given me opportunities to work with several missional pastors of FFBC; Jack Taylor, Mark Buhler, David Macbain, Jeremy MacDonald have each conbtributed in shaping me into a contextualized disciple-maker in Vancouver and the First Nations communities in Lytton.

When I am home, I always have something to do, my God-given relentless
 cheerleader, my wife (Jacee) surrounds me with her support and our seven energetic young people. Two of them are our own children (Eugene and Olivia) and the others
 are international students from South
 Korea.

It is through the love of music that connects all my family members and fosters the love 
and unity of God.  In the winter, we go skating and skiing but summer is my favorite season where we often go on picnics and go camping.
 Jacee can be free from the responsibility of looking after young 
homestay kids as they visit their families back home, and we can give more attention to
 Eugene and Olivia while spending time with other church families. I also get the opportunity to spend more time with friends in Lytton and meet more missionary workers from BC and 
around the world.
